Motherboard layouts, chipset functions, BIOS/UEFI firmware, CPU generations & socket types, RAM types (DDR3/4/5), cache memory, clock speed, thermal management, compatibility and upgrade rules.
Module 3: Storage Devices & Data Management
HDD vs SSD, NVMe drives, external storage, formatting & partitioning, file systems (NTFS, FAT32, ext4), RAID concepts, disk cloning, backup strategies, troubleshooting storage issues.
Module 4: Assembling & Disassembling a Computer
Step-by-step PC assembly, installing CPU, applying thermal paste, RAM installation, storage mounting, cable management, POST (Power-On Self Test), diagnosing assembly issues, safety procedures.
Module 5: Operating System Installation & Configuration
Installing Windows and Linux OS, creating bootable drives, BIOS settings, disk partitioning, driver installation, system configuration, dual-boot setup, OS optimization techniques.
Module 6: Computer Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Common hardware failures, overheating issues, beep codes, boot problems, diagnostic tools, repairing RAM/CPU/PSU issues, cleaning and servicing PCs, using troubleshooting flowcharts.
Module 7: Networking Basics & Network Devices
Introduction to networking, LAN, WAN, MAN, IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6), subnetting basics, routers, switches, hubs, access points, cable types (UTP, STP, fiber), connectors (RJ45), crimping practice.
Module 8: Network Configuration & Setup
Setting up wired & wireless networks, router configuration, DHCP, DNS, NAT, port forwarding, Wi-Fi security, network sharing, network printer setup, VPN basics.
Module 9: Network Troubleshooting Tools & Techniques

Module 11: Server Basics & Virtualization (Intro Level)
